Eating in restaurants with the wife

So, I've been on this aggressive calorie plan all week, and it bothers my wife. I have been drinking 2 'Soylent 2.0' a day and one solid food meal. The Soylent is great because they are 400 calories, ready whenever. I typically do break fast and lunch this way. and then aim for a ~450 calorie solid food meal.

That way I still get to have my (100 Calorie) coffee with cream in the morning. I don't have to beat myself up over the (170 cal) Cookie the office lady brought in. I just track it all in My Fitness Pal. Adjusting my TDEE Calorie goal each time I weigh in.

The wife wanted to go to this Teriyaki place. Which worried me as teriyaki sauce is basically sugar, I was expecting a 1000-1500 calorie meal coming my way. But I researched their menu, and did some quick substitutions. Ended up with a Chicken Teriyaki bowl with brown rice and steamed veggies. Roughly 700 calories.

What happened next will blow you mind

I only ate half of it. Something I wouldn't have done last week. I ate have and put the rest in a togo box for dinner. That dropped the 700 calories to 350 calories and I'm so proud of myself I wanted to share it with the world. I think as I run out of Soylents, I will adapt to this new method of not eating everything put in front of me, as a sustainable solution moving forward.

I logged it all into My Fitness Pal at 1/2 servings and will log the other half for dinner. Dropping me right in line with my TDEE Goal.

TL;DR ONLY ATE HALF OF MEAL
